Westboro Village

Project Description

The Westboro BIA needed a new website to help promote the businesses of Ottawa’s Westboro Village. Tree lined streets and one-of-a-kind boutiques make it a popular destination for shoppers. Requirements included a searchable store directory, blog, and an event calendar to highlight upcoming neighborhood activities.

Solution

Inkline Media developed a map application that users can interact with to quickly filter through the various neighbourhood shops, restaurants and coffee houses. The WordPress powered website allows Westboro BIA staff to easily update the custom coded store directory when new and exciting stores open. Events are loaded into a dynamic calendar and email marketing campaigns are sent out to users who have subscribed via a sign up form to help generate traffic to the local businesses.
